1. JOB TITLE: Data Protection Officer
- A degree in law, information technology, computer science, data management, or a related field will be preferred. Certifications in data protection or privacy law will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in data protection, cyber security, privacy management, fraud and investigation, risk and compliance matters.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Protection Compliance: Oversee adherence to data protection laws, manage relationships with the Data Protection Authority, and develop internal policies and training to foster a strong data protection culture.
- Risk & Incident Management: Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAS), lead investigations into data breaches, and ensure timely reporting and remediation.
- Audit & Reporting: Perform internal audits, monitor compliance, and prepare quarterly reports for regulators.
- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with regulatory teams to implement and monitor compliance with evolving regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures.
- AML Oversight: Conduct risk assessments, monitor transactions, and coordinate audits and investigations to detect and prevent money laundering.
- Anti-Fraud Measures: Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies, manage reported fraud cases, and ensure accurate reporting to regulators.
