Key accountabilities and decision ownership

Business Insights & Analysis

• Understanding and tracking of key performance indicators
• Perform exploratory and advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
• Translate data findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Develop predictive models and perform statistical analysis.
• Preparation of presentation and presenting to commercial teams and management.

Dashboard and Reporting Automation

• Design, develop and maintain automated interactive dashboards.
• Ensure timely data refresh and drill down functionalities for management reporting.
• Create self service analytical tools to empower non-technical users.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and KPIs
• Present insights in a clear, concise and visually compelling way.
• Train commercial teams on how to use dashboards effectively.

Qualifications:

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, computer science, Economics, Business Analytics or related field.
• Experience in data analytics, BI development or related role

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and database querying.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, qlik sense)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language for data analysis (Python, R)
• Familiarity with big data platforms ( eg AWS)
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.

Soft skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Strong communication and story telling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• High attention to details and accuracy.
