The Tanzania Home Economics Association (TAHEA) is a professional, women-led non-governmental organization established in 1980. It was later registered as the Tanzania Home Economics Organization, with its primary headquarters and heavy operations based in the TAHEA Mwanza region. For over four decades, the organization has dedicated itself to improving the quality of life for families and resource poor communities across mainland Tanzania.
