The Prime Minister’s Office – PO-RALG (President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government), in collaboration with the organization Educate! Tanzania through the project to enhance the Teaching and Learning of Business Studies, is implementing an intervention to improve the teaching and learning of the Business Studies subject. The Office announces 400 contract volunteer teaching vacancies for Business Studies in secondary schools with the highest need, within the following regions: Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Simiyu, Kagera, Geita, Tabora, Dodoma, Morogoro, Pwani, and Dar es Salaam. The objective of this project is to facilitate the implementation of the Education and Training Policy of 2014 (2023 Edition) and the improved Secondary Education Curriculum, which directs the teaching of Business Studies to enhance entrepreneurship skills among students. Therefore, degree graduates from government-recognized universities are invited to submit their applications to volunteer to teach Business Studies in the secondary schools that will be listed through the Official Job Application System of the Prime Minister’s Office – PO-RALG. The application window is open from June 1 to June 14, 2026. Volunteer (contract) teachers who meet the criteria will be deployed and supervised by Local Government Authorities.
