1. JOB TITLE: Procurement Officer – 1 Position
Experienced
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will actively manage and drive effective local procurement and continuous optimization to support the strategy of increased contract buying.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day buying by validating, coding, and assigning purchase requisitions to the appropriate buyer.
- Ensure all purchase requisitions be purchased through the catalogue and inform end-users of the correct procurement process.
- Respond to and implement findings from analytical data and reports to drive efficiencies and identify opportunities for optimization of contract buying or improved inventory management.
- Implement agreed best practices, minimum standards, policies, processes, tools, technology, and enablers.
- Intimately understand and know the MID catalogue to ensure compliance to this as far as possible.
- Enter accurate data into the system to enable reliable reporting and analysis – Implement and monitor continuous improvement practises – Report where there are opportunities for more contract buying (i.e. repeat purchases that can be contracted).
- Validate all purchase requisitions requests against the catalogue and assign to buyer.
- Assign the appropriate sub-group code for each purchase requisition.
Job Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics Management or equivalent
- 3 years Procurement / Purchasing / Supply chain management experience would be advantageous
- Technical knowledge and understanding of Procurement processes and supply chain management
- Ability to engage/manage/partner with stakeholders

2. JOB TITLE: Procurement & Inventory Lead – 1 Position
Manager/Supervisor
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will oversee onsite inventory to ensure both financial and operational efficiency, lead local procurement in alignment with contract buying strategies, and leverage data driven insights to optimize stock levels and accurately forecast demand.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for optimal onsite Inventory stock holding from both a financial and operational perspective.
- Responsible for effective Group procurement and continuous optimization to support the strategy of increased contract buying.
- Use analytical data and insights to partner with various stakeholders in optimizing stock holding, forecasting demand & delivering on category supply plans.
- Lead, manage and develop capability in the Procurement and Inventory teams.
- Ensure compliance to standardized procurement and Inventory management policies, strategy, processes and guidelines, considering customer requirements.
- Reports on and monitors continuous improvement practises within Inventory and manages implementation of these initiatives where applicable.
- Champion the implementation of Group Inventory strategy and objectives which include leading & managing inventory changes/projects/events at operations.
- Check and ensure that accurate data is entered in the system for reliable reporting and analysis.
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement practises.
- Uses data to drive opportunities to consolidate orders which will lead to logistical cost savings.
Job Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Procurement &/or Inventory would be advantageous
- 3 years in a management role
- Proven track record in managing and developing teams
- Procurement professional accreditation preferred

3. JOB TITLE: Industrial Relations Specialist – 1 Position
Manager/Supervisor
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will provide expert Industrial Relations (IR) support to HR Department and Senior management, fostering positive workplace relationships, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring procedures and policies comply with laws.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Advise and coach managers and HR on complex IR matters.
- Ensure managers, employees and shop stewards are made aware of policy changes related to legislative and regulatory changes.
- Maintain and update all IR policies and procedures, ensuring the enforcement and adherence of these policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain positive stakeholder relationships (internally and externally) through ensuring
- IR committees are in place and effectively managed.
- Manage and enhance relationships between trade unions and management.
- Monitor IR trends within the company in order to diagnose, develop and implement suitable solutions/program.
- Provide professional advice to the HR Team and Line Managers in relation to IR to identify IR training needs for managers, employees and shop stewards and provide suitable solutions.
- Provide guidance for managing IR unrest (picketing, strikes, sit in, etc.) at sites.
- Manage IR elements of the HR budget.
- Support and guide wage negotiations processes.
- Manage the integration of Recognition & Substantive Agreements and conditions of employment in line with business strategy.
- Ensure IR master data accuracy.
- Partner with the Legal Counsel in strengthening the IR portfolio
- Support the investigations for Internal Audit Call Reports related to HR policy/procedures/process deviations and IR related litigation.
- Provide support to management and employees in managing performance and assist in the analysis of plans to resolve any identified performance problems.
- Represent the Company on   labour disputes and other litigations where employees are involved s (e.g. CMA) and manage interaction with third party service providers e.g. attorneys/consultants to provide specialist advice.
- Promote and adhere to ABF’s procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).
Job Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and Admitted Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania.
- Experience in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or Equivalent is an added advantage.
- 5-7 years relevant experience with impressive, demonstrable track record of skills/experience gained within a similar position(s).
