New Vacancies At TMDA, July 2025

Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority (TMDA) is an Executive Agency under the Ministry of Health (MOH). The Agency is responsible for regulating quality, safety and effectiveness of medicines, medical devices, diagnostics, biocidal and tobacco products. In order to improve public service delivery, TMDA is managed as an Executive Agency in accordance with the Executive Agencies Act, Cap. 245 which was also amended in 2009.

TMDA seeks to recruit competent, open-minded, result oriented with high integrity Tanzanians to fill the following Contractual vacancies for a period of one (01) year renewable once upon successfully performance as follows; –

General Conditions;

1. All applicants must be Tanzanian Citizens not exceeding 45 years of age.
2. Applicants should attach a detailed CV with valid addresses and telephone numbers, as well as the names of three reliable referees.
3. All applications should be accompanied by professional certificates, descriptions, copies of certificates certified by a Lawyer/Attorney which are birth certificates, Form Four, Form Six for those who have reached that level, and certificates of various training courses based on the qualifications of the relevant job.
   • Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates.
   • Form IV and VI examination certificate
   • Computer Certificate
   • Professional certificates from respective boards where applicable.
4. “Testimonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, document results (FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
5. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant Authorities (TCU, NECTA and NACTE).
6. Job applicants who are already employed in entry – level in the Public Services should not apply.
7. Submission of false information and credentials will result in legal action.
