Position: Manager – Bancassurance
Reports to: Head – Alternative Channels
HEAD OFFICE
Desired candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance and Risk Management and a Certificate of Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Master’s Degree / Post Graduate diploma in related fields is an added advantage.
The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Insurance industry with a key focus on General, Medical and Life Insurance.

Job DescriptionÂ
Job Purpose
To manage and monitor the Bancassurance business, coordinate between branches, corporate clients and insurance companies.
Duties
- To plan, organizes, direct and control Bancassurance activities through various departments.
- Responsible for reconciliation of insurance premiums with insurance companies, tracking commissions receivable from insurance companies.
- To meet the assigned targets for premium collection for both life and general Insurance.
- Responsible for the operations of the bancassurance business and be a representative of the bank in all matters of bancassurance business with regulatory authorities.
- To support and monitor the specified persons at branches in coordination with the branch managers.
- To coordinate for quotations on various products from insurance companies for leads generated by branches and various channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance and Risk Management.
- Certificate of Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
- Master’s Degree / Post Graduate diploma in related fields is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of the general market trends surrounding the banking and e-banking ecosystem.
- Strong marketing and sales skills.
- Self-motivation, reactiveness and positive attitude.
- Interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written)
