1. Position: Mechanical Plant Inspector – TWIGA CEMENT

Areas of Responsibility: AS ASSIGNED
Reports To: Maintenance Control Centre Manager

Specific Knowledge
Minimum of two years working experience in cement manufacturing plants.

Due Date: 8/9/2025 12:00 AM

Main Duties
1. Perform routine/shutdown inspection of plant equipment and report to Planning for execution process
2. Responsible for overall decision in the area based on given quality requirement and customer satisfaction
3. Monitor and follow up equipment operating condition, with close follow up of all critical equipment
4. Work with EAM system to ensure detailed input of item as required
5. Initiate and follow-up of any repair which comes from inspection results to ensure that the reported challenge is fixed
6. Analysing equipment failure data to identify patterns and trends, conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis Weekly, and follow up of preventive action list proposed
7. Collaborating with other departments to ensure that reliability is integrated into all aspects of the organization.
8. Prepare inspection reports and recommendation and report to supervisor
9. Compliance to HC Group Code of Business Conduct, Compliance polices and guidelines
10. Ensure OSHA compliance as per company and statutory requirements
11. Enforces all safety, health and environment rules and regulations according to company/country protocol including OSHA compliance.
12. Ensure compliance with the HC Group Code of Business Conduct, as well as other policies and guidelines.
13. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Requirements (Qualifications)

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or its equivalent
2. Good knowledge of condition monitoring equipment and computerized maintenance system
3. Team player

2. Position: Control Room Operator – SIMBA CEMENT

Areas of Responsibility: AS ASSIGNED
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Specific Knowledge

Due Date: 8/1/2025 5:00 PM

Main Duties
• Overall responsible for operating the kiln, raw mill, coal mill and cement mills to ensure that the plant is running within requirements and according to the agreed parameters.
• Operate the plant according to day’s instructions, monitoring the process and adjusting as required to maintain optimum operating parameters.
• Reporting – Maintaining production log sheets and ensuring their accuracy as well preparation of daily reports.
• Takes part in any production relate activities efficiently and professionally, for example, all sorts of cleaning, firefighting, special tests, and refractory jobs.
• Communicates to the supervisor on any abnormality and ensures that feedback from laboratory on product quality is obtained.
• Enforces all safety, health and environment rules and regulations according to country /company protocol including OSHA compliance.
• Compliance to group and local Code of Ethics and all policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by line management.

Minimum Requirements (Qualifications)
• Minimum BSc. in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in cement or equivalent industry.
• Basic understanding of maintenance requirements.
• Good attention to detail.
